Based in Dunedin, Wild Dispensary create naturopath-formulated herbal remedies using wild-foraged, native New Zealand plants.
Their ingredients are harvested from the rugged Dunedin coastline through to Central Otago, always with a focus on sustainability, potency, and respect for the land.​​

Their formulations are led by Skye Macfarlane, a qualified naturopath and medical herbalist with a Bachelor of Natural Medicine and postgraduate studies in Public Health.
Skye is a board member and Research Convenor for the Naturopaths & Medical Herbalists of NZ, and also a member of the NZ Association of Medical Herbalists.
Co-founders Ruth Vaughan and Gerald Davies round out the team — bringing expertise in native plants, environmental science, foraging, production, and small-business operations. Together, they oversee every step of harvesting, formulation, and manufacturing at their Dunedin facility.
With a certified medical herbalist leading product development, Wild Dispensary place strong importance on safety, efficacy, and high-quality ingredients. Their range is processed and manufactured in-house, using sustainably harvested, verified-organic and locally grown botanicals wherever possible.
Deeply committed to environmental responsibility, they actively support wildlife conservation initiatives and run sustainability programmes such as waste auditing and a bottle re-use scheme — so you can feel good about what you’re putting into your body and the footprint it leaves behind.
